Trade was on fire for the Bleu Du Maine and Millennium Bleu’s forward at Carlisle
Pre-Sale Show Champion Skye Bleu Vixen from Kenneth O’Connor sold for 4,800gns and joins the Joyfield flock of Mr Miller. This powerful gimmer, by Mazimum Obama set the trade alight. Close behind her at 3,500gns was Haydon Valentine from Haydon Valentine. Son of Perdi Singy Boy out of Haydon Sweet Pea dam.
Prices to note in the males included top price make of the day selling for 2,500gns for Skye Bleu Valhalla from Mr K O’Connor selling to Mr G Lee he was sired by Maximum Obama out of a Calla One Way Ewe.
Females were in huge demand which included the HAYDON Flock and the Skye Bleu Flock smashing the 2,000gns barrier twice with their Lots forward for sale.
The Millennium Bleu champion of the day from Rosemary McDermid found her new home at Messrs Wright’s for 600gns.
Top price of the day went to Mr Pilkington with both Aintree Supreme and Aintree Valient selling for 1000gns both finding their new home with A W & D Brown.
An exceptional sale all round, testament to the demand for both the Bleu Du Maine and the Millennium Bleu as well as the fantastic level of quality in the sheep forward by our Vendors.
